Our drivers are professionals with valid commercial licenses who go through background checks, safety training, and regular vehicle inspections, so you can travel with confidence throughout El Salvador.

Our guides are trained specialists in El Salvador's history, culture, and geography. All guided tours include a knowledgeable local guide, round-trip transportation, and admission to the sites listed in your itinerary.

Tours are conducted in Spanish and English. Other languages, such as French, German, Italian, or Portuguese, may be available on request — please ask at the time of booking.

For the safety and comfort of all passengers, smoking, vaping, and drinking alcohol are not permitted in any of our vehicles.

After completing your purchase, you'll be shown a voucher on the confirmation page, and a copy will be emailed to you shortly afterward. Please bring a printed or digital copy of your voucher on the day of your tour and follow the redemption instructions included with it.

We offer courtesy pickups from a selection of hotels and meeting points in San Salvador, Santa Tecla, the Zona Rosa/Escalón area, and other areas as applicable. 

Most tours can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up until the day before departure. Tours that include third-party tickets (such as special events or dated admissions) may be non-refundable closer to the tour date.  Meal inclusions vary by tour and are listed in each tour's itinerary details. Please check the individual package description or ask our team before booking.

Casual, comfortable clothing is recommended for most tours. For beach or lake excursions, bring swimwear and a towel. For volcano hikes or outdoor activities, closed-toe shoes and light layers are recommended, along with sun protection, a hat, and water.

Please let us know when booking so we can plan seating and safety arrangements. Infants travel free of charge, but we need an accurate headcount for every tour. If you plan to bring a car seat, let us know in advance so we can confirm how it will be secured in the vehicle you'll be using.

Items found on our vehicles are brought to our office and kept for a limited period. Please contact us at +503 7889 8621 or [email protected] to report a lost item. Gray Line El Salvador is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended on our vehicles.
